How our design process works

At Marshall Mason we pride ourselves on the personal service we offer to our customers.

Initial survey

A home visit prior to any design consultation is key to allow us to produce plans and designs. This is the first and most important step towards creating a bespoke interior.

We need to understand the way you use your surroundings and discover what your aspirations are for your new space.

The brief

During this initial home visit, we will compile a wish-list and take note of your needs and desires to establish your individual requirements in terms of function, aesthetics and budget.

Appliances and finishes will be broadly discussed, but no specific decisions need to be made at this point.

Presentation

Our second meeting will take place in our showroom where we will present our initial proposals with drawings and detailed explanations of the layout. You will gain a clear understanding of our ideas and recommendations for your space together with the rationale behind them.

By the end of this meeting, we hope that you will have enough information to decide to if you would like to proceed to the next stage.

The design process is free of charge. However, if you wish to take away your plans and drawings on the day there will be a £355 charge which will then be deducted from your deposit should you wish to proceed.

And finally

Once you have approved the finished design a final survey will be carried out in your home. An agreement will be issued for you to sign and the final detailed design drawings released.

From here our team will take care of the journey with you through to completion.
