Ulverston Kitchen
A striking contemporary extension has transformed this period home, blending modern family living with classic design details. Some of the client’s existing cabinetry was carefully retained and remodelled, including the creation of a bespoke pantry to neatly conceal everyday appliances.
The new kitchen furniture is handmade in a traditional in-frame style with solid oak drawer boxes, hand painted in Little Greene Rolling Fog. Two statement islands, finished in Little Greene Attic, anchor the space — one designed for relaxed breakfast bar seating, the other dedicated to food preparation. The prep island incorporates a small sink, slimline Siemens induction hob and oven, offering flexibility for summer cooking when the Aga is switched off.
Ceasarstone Moorland Fog worktops flow throughout the kitchen, complementing the timeless Belfast sink and Quooker Fusion Classic boiling water tap. The result is a beautifully balanced kitchen that feels both welcoming and practical, combining heritage character with modern convenience.
